these are some items i'm seeking, and ideas i have, but by no means is this a comprehensive list. all can be adjusted. always happy to plot! i'm not too familiar with most fandoms so some context might be needed. i'm open to (mostly) anything as long as there's discussion!

no problem dropping the supernatural elements of his story and making him a regular private detective. i can also tweak his background. aus (ie, time periods, canons whatever) are great!

partner — no real preference! i would love anyone! open to it being a one-off, short-term, or long-term partnership. i think, ideally, i would like for any long-term partner to be proficient in magic, since that's a field alexei has very little knowledge in. but, again, open to anyone!
he meshes well with bright, loud, high-energy, almost overdramatic characters. the laurel to his hardy. the ernie to his bert. the conan o'brien to his jordan schlansky.
shipping — not actively seeking it, but if there's chemistry, let's talk! while alexei is hesitant to get close to anyone (so it'll be a long process), we can set up the foundation for it.

m/f, 30+. not interested in cross medium shipping.
i haven't thought of specifics, but he's attracted to high moral character and intelligence. emotional maturity. independent. goal-oriented. he's not interested in drama. basically, he wants someone to walk along this path called life as equals.

in general, i want to bring alexei out of his shell. deep down, he wants to give and receive affection, but growing up in an abusive and hypermasculine household and repeated ostracism keep him from opening up.
